Burnley's European adventure came to an end on Friday as the Premier League side crashed out of the Europa League playoff round with a 1-1 draw against Olympiakos. The Clarets, who were playing in their first European competition in 51 years, fell short at the final qualifying hurdle before the group stage, losing 4-2 on aggregate. After numerious chances at both ends, Olympiakos finally expanded on their first-leg win when Daniel Podence scored on the counter-attack in the 83rd minute.
